A Dream That has
Been Cooking for Years
Chef and owner, Angelo Manco, has been preparing authentic Italian cuisine since his youth in Naples, Italy. He established Angelo's Italian Restaurant in 2000 with his wife, Julie Manco - fulfilling his lifelong dream of owning a restaurant. He attended culinary school in Germany and learned English, French and German along the way. In 1987, Angelo followed his cousins to Lake County and began to learn the restaurant business from the ground up working in family-run restaurants.
Legendary for his pizza and pasta dishes, one of Angelo’s signature dishes is authentic from his mother's kitchen: Bracciole. Bracciole is a thin, flank steak stuffed with garlic, parsley, and Parmesan cheese, rolled into a cylinder and served with pasta and the marinara sauce Angelo's has become famous for.
“My mother, gave me the inspiration to pursue culinary talents, which led me to study in Germany. Now, I am passing my talents on to the third generation, my son Michael is continuing the Manco family traditions of preparing authentic Italian cuisine for you to enjoy."
For all of his dishes, Angelo chose to use the freshest ingredients, choice meats, fresh seafood, and garden vegetables. He imports all the pasta, cheeses, and tomatoes directly from Italy. It is fine dining at its best, but the restaurant is casual, and comfortable, with a touch of Italian elegance. A full-service bar combines with traditional Italian decor to create an incredible dining experience.
"We want you to feel like part of our family.”
